I was born October 16, 1968 in Los Angeles. Noticing my fascination with Tinker Toys, Lincoln Logs, and Legos, my non-wood working dad managed to build me a little work bench. From that point on I knew I wanted to make things out of wood.
When I was 10 years old my family relocated to Big Sur, CA, where everyone was an artist. People didn't make money on their art, they just made art. If someone needed a table or a lamp they didn't buy it, they made it. Everywhere I went I saw example of creative and artistic objects. Everything from a three-story house made from a giant oak wine barrel, to a drift wood latch for a gate. That creative environment cemented my career as a wood worker.
After 18 years of building cabinets in a variety of shops, I decided to venture out on my own. I want to focus on unique high-end cabinets and furniture and work for clients who appreciate good craftsmanship and interesting designs.
