The focus at Eaton Designs is custom mill work but on occasion we will revisit our passion for building furniture. This chair is an accumulation of all who inspire us. It doesn't have the flowy curves of Sam Maloof's chairs but it  does have his heart and soul as a woodworker. The chair doesn't have live edges of George Nakashima's furniture but it does emphasize  the natural beauty of the material it was made from. Frank Gehry and Frank Lioyd Wright are also big influences as well as the every day people I grew up with in Big Sur who hand made the things they needed. they were always purpose built but with unique style. It is all of these people who help shape Eaton Designs.
